Born in the Midlands at the start of the swinging 60s, Joss Cope followed elder brother
Julian to Liverpool aged 14 and got rapidly sucked in to the nascent post-punk scene
there, meeting and playing with such future musical luminaries as Les Pattinson (Echo
& the Bunnymen), Peter Wylie (Wah Heat) and Mike Mooney (Spiritualized).

GDNLP 017 WILLIE GIBSON VIVALDI-SEASONS CHANGE LP 10.2017
Vivaldi: Seasons Change is an electronic realisation of one of the most popular
baroque classics, Antonio Vivaldi’s Opus 8, Il Quattro Stagioni, created solely
using a Eurorack format modular synthesizer.
Each part was transcribed into midi from the original score and then recorded part
by part as audio into ProTools.
Modules used include:
VCOs: Tip Top z3000s
Filters: Malekko Wiard Borg, Tip Top z2040, Toppobrillo Multifilter
EGs: Maleko Wiard Envelators
Sequencer: Oberkorn 3
Other modules mostly Doepfer
Willie Gibson has a steadily growing modular synth studio and mainly produces
sequenced post-minimalist music in the wilds of Cambridgeshire.

Kind of eponymous album from East London/Essex weird folk duo, The Cold Spell.
I say kind of because, for those of you not fluent in morse, those dots and dashes
spell the band's name. Eccentric songs with a traditional soul made from acoustic
guitars, drum machines, and a The Wicker Man-ish sense of unease.

this cosy album with Brona McVittie, Oliver Cherer and numerous others with Ian
Button and Giles Barrett at the mixing desk. Lyrical themes include wayward Japanese
satellite Hitomi (charmingly personified as ‘Satellite Hitori’), Scandi-noir
literature, Late Middle Ages poet Geoffrey Chaucer and hippies.
